Microsoft has launched the Agentic Launchpad, a new initiative aimed at supporting AI developers across the UK and Ireland, in collaboration with NVIDIA and WeTransact.

The programme builds on Microsoft’s £22 billion ($30 billion) investment in UK AI infrastructure and is designed to accelerate the region’s AI economy by helping software companies develop intelligent, next-generation AI platforms.

“This is a really exciting opportunity for innovative and ambitious AI-first software companies to accelerate the growth of their agentic AI solutions with the expert help of Microsoft and NVIDIA,” said Darren Hardman, CEO of Microsoft UK & Ireland. “We are passionate about helping to build the agentic AI future and see innovation flourish in the UK.”

The Agentic Launchpad offers participants access to technical expertise from Microsoft and NVIDIA specialists, including co-innovation sessions, AI training, and credits through Microsoft’s programmes to support product development. Companies will also receive marketing and sales support to bring products to market more quickly, alongside opportunities for networking with investors, industry leaders and experts through exclusive events and summits.

“NVIDIA is ready to support the Microsoft Agentic Launchpad through the NVIDIA Inception program for cutting-edge start-ups,” said Serge Palaric, vice president of EMEA hyperscaler and independent service vendor alliances at NVIDIA. “This collaboration will provide start-ups with access to NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute training sessions and a network of experts. By using NVIDIA AI infrastructure, software companies will be able to accelerate their AI development and enhance performance.”

The programme is open to UK-based software development companies focused on agentic applications, intelligent systems or generative AI platforms. Applications will be accepted from 4 to 28 November through Microsoft’s website.
