Microsoft has launched the new Conecta+ programme to provide over 80,000 Brazilian people with access to digital skilling and professional retraining resources.

The programme will focus on training and connection, offering free courses on Microsoft Azure, Business Applications and Security, for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, in 20 certified courses. To participate, individuals must be over the age of 16 and have completed a high school education.

In addition, as part of the programme, individuals seeking job opportunities can register on the Modern Talent Hub platform to reach a wider range of businesses through the programme’s partner companies.

Conecta+ courses offer over 300 hours of on-demand training and more than 180 hours of live training in Portuguese. The Microsoft Azure courses cover cloud computing and artificial intelligence, modernisation of legacy applications, migration scenarios, and cloud solution architecture. Business Applications courses include customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning concepts, and the security courses will explore how businesses can protect themselves using the cloud.

The programme is part of Microsoft Mais Brasil, a plan launched in October 2020 to expand Microsoft's commitment to education, training and entrepreneurship in the country.
