Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona, the annual trade show dedicated to the mobile communications industry, will be held on 28 June – 1 July 2021.For the first time, attendees will be able to join the event either in-person or virtually.
The event is focused on the theme of ‘Connected Impact’ and will explore the ways in which the mobile ecosystem is transforming the world in over 250 conferences and keynote sessions.
Key topics will include 5G deployment and 6G planning, the industrial internet of things, artificial intelligence, and Covid-19 recovery and tech, among many others. An exhibition will also showcase products from global mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors, and content owners.
A range of keynote speakers will be attending the event, including Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture; Hans Vestberg, chairman and CEO of Verizon Communications; Nick Read, CEO of Vodafone Group; Raffaele Annecchino, president and CEO of ViacomCBS Networks International and Cristiano Amon, president and CEO-elect of Qualcomm.
