Electricity generator and retailer PacificLight Energy has implemented MECOMS 365 software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution to better serve customers and improve billing operations.
The move builds on the long-standing partnership between PacificLight and MECOMS – a subsidiary of Ferranti Computer Systems – which began in 2013 to provide commercial and industrial energy billing.
“We awarded this project to Ferranti because of its excellent product knowledge and service quality, which has been consistently demonstrated in the time we have worked with the team,” said Yu Tat Ming, CEO of PacificLight. “When our billings workload increased, the Ferranti team quickly stepped in to find a solution that shortened our overall invoice process by a significant amount. The solution not only eased pressures on our billing team but has also improved payment collection.”
The MECOMS 365 cloud platform helps customers to empower their employees to improve efficiency, customer experience and business insight. Customers can select modules specific to their needs, such as customer services, asset management, portfolio management or other compatible platform services from the Microsoft ecosystem.
