Cloud, AI, unified communications and analytics to top bill at UC EXPO

The cloud, unified communications, artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, security and mobility will be key topics at UC EXPO, Europe’s largest unified communications and collaboration event this May.

Taking place on 17-18 May 2017 at ExCeL London, the event will explore the evolving modern workplace and the technologies that will change how companies work in the future. Speakers will include executives from some of the world’s leading brands who will discuss the major challenges and issues involved with implementing a unified communications strategy. They will also share insights, experiences and success stories.

In addition, 2017 also sees the introduction of new technology areas into the event programme to showcase the technologies and solutions that will shape the future workplace, including video, collaboration solutions, chat, virtual reality and AI. The areas will include the Future of Work Theatre, which will host educational sessions; the Future Tech Demo Zone, an interactive demo area; and the Customer Engagement/Experience Theatre to highlight the technologies that will improve how companies communicate with customers.

“Rarely before in recent history have the issues of collaboration, connectivity and productivity seemed so critical to the future of UK businesses,” said Bradley Maule-ffinch, director of strategy for UC EXPO. “Socio-political developments such as Brexit and its uncertain economic impact, has meant that for many organisations a unified communications strategy has gone from ‘nice to have’ to business critical. Addressing issues such as remote working, enabling global collaboration between teams and increasing productivity are vital to future-proofing the UK’s place on the world business stage, and for many to the continued success of their organisation.”
