Software company Cubic Telecom has expanded the reach of its internet of things (IoT) software for the automotive and agriculture industries in Brazil, by partnering with 4G network provider TIM Brasil. Customers in Brazil can now deploy global IoT connected solutions that comply with local regulations.
Cubic’s software can be installed in a vehicle, machine or device during the manufacturing process anywhere in the world, helping customers in the automotive and agricultural industries to future-proof solutions.
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with TIM Brasil,” said Barry Napier, CEO of Cubic Telecom. “We can now, for the first time, enable blue-chip customers to overcome the long-standing challenge of connecting technologies in Brazil, which is very important for the automotive and agriculture sectors.
“Brazil is an essential market for global automotive and IoT manufacturers, so our entry into the country demonstrates and proves our ambition, ability and commitment to establish localised support in all important regulated markets for our customers.”
According to Cubic Telecom, establishing a local presence in Brazil will help the company expand its global footprint and become a valuable partner for original equipment manufacturers.
