Forever Direct, a global importer and distributor of Aloe Vera-based products, has improved its order fulfilment operations in the EMEA region with Manhattan’s Supply Chain Commerce solutions.
According to the company, its goods now move faster through its supply chain and its order fulfilment capacity has increased from 5,000 to 55,000 orders at the one site.
It has also improved product availability for its 500,000 independent distributors in 93 countries throughout EMEA and raised service levels for its regional customers.
Forever Direct implemented Manhattan’s Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Intelligence solutions in its new regional distribution centre (DC) in the Netherlands.
The solutions were live at the 17,000 sq. m. (180,000 sq. ft.) facility within ten months.
Half of the space in the new DC acts as an order fulfilment centre, so the company now doesn’t need to use multiple, third-party-operated, shared -ser DCs.
Orders from thousands of distributors in 19 countries are now centrally managed in the DC as well.
Martin Zegers, managing director at Forever Direct, said: “Our productivity and efficiency levels are up, inventory accuracy levels have risen, and the service levels we provide to our customers is on an upward trajectory.”
