HSO, a UK-based IT service provider, has implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail at Crew Clothing to help the retailer gain one view of stock and the customer.
Crew, based in the UK, required a credible technical solution to support its business growth and decided on Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail. It chose the solution for its ability to provide a single unified and accurate view of stock, handle all customer queries, regardless of the channel they interact through, and give managers all the information they need, as quickly as possible.
With its new enterprise resource planning solution, Crew is now able to offer its customers a seamless omni-channel shopping experience. It can ensure that the customer has the widest choice of clothing and accessories to choose from, regardless of the method they use to shop. At the same time, it is able to capture individual data to build up a single profile of each customer.
“We can now tailor unique offers to customers and ensure we are providing relevant and appropriate information to them,” said Justin Hampshire, the retailer’s finance director. “This builds customer loyalty and allows us to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
Centralised stock management has also helped Crew take a significant step forward by providing greater business insight. The management team has a faster and more accurate understanding of what is selling where, as well as the drivers behind each purchase.
“The business has made significant gains in the short time we have worked with HSO,” added Hampshire. “The management team have been pleased with a number of early wins, such as the implementation of POS with integrated Chip and Pin capabilities. We have greater business insight, operate with increased agility and are exceeding consumer expectations and delivering unrivalled customer service, which drives improved loyalty. The internal team and management team are delighted with the Dynamics AX solution and HSO to date.”
