Just Eat adopts Microsoft Dynamics AX to support international growth

Just Eat – the online and mobile takeaway food marketplace – has invested in the latest Microsoft Dynamics AX business solution to help standardise its internal processes and support its international growth.

Just Eat identified Dynamics AX as being well-aligned to its cloud-first approach.

With a presence in 15 countries globally, the solution offers modules covering finance, sales, purchasing, expenses, internal project management and R&D cost management. 

The company worked alongside Columbus, an international consultancy and Microsoft Gold Partner, to implement the solution, which will replace its existing legacy system. Columbus will implement Dynamics AX for Just Eat in the UK, before rolling out the solution worldwide.

Between us, we are confident that the project will be a huge success.”

Columbus will use its unique RapidValue application and methodology to allow Just Eat to review its business processes and requirements.

“By using AX and RapidValue to standardise processes within Just Eat, and centralise core operations across the business, the company will significantly improve operating processes,” said Martin Burden, retail practice sales director at Columbus. “Furthermore, the ability to track information more effectively, better manage purchasing requests, and more effectively manage expenses, will all result in long term financial gains for Just Eat, and this will subsequently help to improve its customer service levels.”
