Hybrid cloud, application and analytics services designed to enable digital transformation

IT services firm DXC Technology has launched a series of new application and managed service offerings for Microsoft Azure.
The new services – Application Services for Azure, Analytics Offerings on Azure, DXC Services on Azure for SAP, and DXC Managed Services for Azure – have been designed to help DXC’s customers accelerate and efficiently scale digital strategies across both public and private clouds.
“Enterprises and public sector clients are facing increasing business pressures and regulatory changes that are accelerating the need for flexible, scalable cloud solutions,” said Dan Hushon, senior vice president and chief technology officer of DXC Technology. “They need to optimise operations and performance across platforms to decrease costs and increase agility – all while maintaining compliance.”
The firm’s new Application Services for Azure offering has been designed to support enterprises when transforming and migrating applications to run on Azure, while DXC Services on Azure for SAP helps with the transformation and migration of SAP and S/4HANA to run on Azure.
Analytics Offerings on Azure is a range of services that is designed to help accelerate the process of turning data into intelligent action, using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.
DXC Managed Services for Azure creates an accelerated and simplified path for clients, allowing them to realise the benefits of a flexible consumption model and the agility of a hybrid Azure cloud infrastructure. This can be based on the public cloud or from Azure, and deployed to DXC data centres or client-owned data centres.
