Lenovo has released a new pocket-sized compute stick, which can transform any HDMI-compatible TV or monitor into a fully functioning Windows-based PC.
The Lenovo ideacentre Stick 300 is 15mm thin, has an Intel Atom Processor Z3735F, 2G of memory and 32G of storage.
Retailing from US$129, it will initially ship with Windows 8.1 but will be available for a free upgrade to Windows 10 from 29 July.
“We’ve looked at the computing needs of travellers, business people and families, and realised that a truly portable and affordable solution would be a significant benefit to users of all kinds,” said Jun Ouyang, vice president and general manager of Worldwide Desktop and Visuals at Lenovo.
