The new release offers significant capabilities in mobility, business insight and cloud services. Dynamics NAV 2016 also provides deeper interoperability with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Office 365.
It is hoped that the new release will empower workers at small and medium-sized businesses and support their plans for growth.
The new release enables mobile workers on any device to use streamlined, easy-to-use native apps for all form factors.
Microsoft Power BI dashboards and data connections help improve business insight for users and provide instant access to key performance indicators.
Customers can use Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online to enhance sales, improve customer service and streamline order-to cash-processes.
Users have the option of deploying Microsoft Dynamics NAV on Microsoft Azure SQL Database – Microsoft’s database-as-a-service in the cloud offering. This allows for enterprise class scalability, security and availability in the cloud.
The new release also offers expanded document management, workflow, and Optical Character Recognition capabilities, helping businesses eliminate the use of paper-based transactions.
