Microsoft has launched a new version of its Band device.
The latest version – Microsoft Band 2 – features a new curved screen and a barometer, as well as dedicated apps for e-mail, text, running, cycling, the gym, and golf.
Worn around the users wrist, Microsoft Band tracks the heart rate, exercise, calorie burn, and sleep quality of wearers, helping them to achieve health and fitness goals.
Users can view and analyse their health data with Microsoft Health, which provides information in an easy-to-use dashboard. This data can then be shared via health apps such as Strava and MapMyRun.
