dacadoo will use Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Foundry, to power its Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP) to deliver faster and more accurate health scoring to customers.

The firm’s platform is designed to motivate users to adopt healthier lifestyles. It uses real-time data from various sources like fitness trackers, biosensors and medical systems to calculate medical risks. The firm works with healthcare providers to improve patient engagement and personalise care, and insurance firms to personalise risk assessment and reduce claims.

The partnership with Microsoft will enable agentic AI-powered health data analysis that adapts to individuals in real time and ensures enterprise-grade security, scalability and regulatory compliance.

“Our collaboration with dacadoo reflects our belief that AI can play a transformative role in improving people’s lives through more personalised experiences, stronger community connections and better health outcomes,” said Elena Bonfiglioli, general manager of healthcare and life sciences at Microsoft.

Bill Borden, corporate vice president of worldwide financial services at Microsoft, said: “As insurers and financial institutions accelerate their shift toward embedded, personalised and data-driven wellness offerings, our collaboration with dacadoo brings together the power of Microsoft Azure and generative AI with dacadoo’s DHEP. This is more than a tech story – it’s about empowering insurers to better serve their customers, reduce risk and drive healthier outcomes at scale.”
