DMG MORI has used Tulip Interfaces’ Composable platform on Microsoft Azure to improve its product quality by 66.6 per cent and reduce manufacturing preparation costs by 60 per cent.
The global manufacturer of high-precision machine tools recognised its manual workflows and siloed data across 17 sites risked slowing innovation and increasing errors. In response, operators at DMG MORI used Tulip’s platform to build custom apps that streamline logistics, machining and assembly, quality control and commissioning. This reduced operational costs, accelerated production speed and improved customer satisfaction through higher quality and responsiveness on the shopfloor.
DMG MORI uses Azure to connect is business systems globally as well as Microsoft Power Platform to empower employees to build custom solutions that automate everyday tasks.
