The European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference will take place in Barcelona, Spain from 28 September – 1 October 2026. 

The conference will bring together Europe’s largest Microsoft Fabric and dedicated structured query language (SQL) community, with over 130 expert-led sessions covering a range of topics related to business intelligence and data engineering. Sessions and workshops will delve deep into the use of Microsoft Purview, Power BI, AI and data agents, SQL and more.

The event’ keynote comes from Microsoft’s Aun Ulag, Amir Netz and Shireesh Thota, with the trio discussing how Microsoft Fabric and OneLake can bring databases and analytics together into a single, governed platform purpose-built for the AI era.

In addition to the keynote, the event includes sessions which cater to data engineers, software architects, data scientists, business decision-makers and IT professionals. Attendees can expect to learn about deployment of infrastructure and databases as code on Azure and Fabric SQL, the integration of Power BI with agentic AI, migrating and modernising data warehouses on Microsoft Fabric, Purview data security for Fabric data estates, the unification of real-time intelligence and IQ context, and more.
