Fortra’s Terranova Security will help delegates from over 250 organisations to understand cybersecurity threats and empower them to prevent phishing attacks at its annual Gone Phishing Tournament, which will be hosted in October to support Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

The online event will use real-world phishing scenarios to test the readiness of attendees, evaluate current cybersecurity training effectiveness and offer the opportunity to compare results on a global scale. It will do this by measuring phishing click rates and other benchmarks against other participants in the same industry, region and size range.

Microsoft will co-sponsor the event and join Fortra in providing actionable insights into how attendees can establish and grow a culture of cybersecurity awareness such as through the attack simulation training in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
