Microsoft partners with WHO to host Covid-19 hackathon
Participants invited to build software to tackle challenges related to the virus

Microsoft and other technology companies such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and WeChat have partnered with the World Health Organization for a Covid-19 hackathon. The initiative will invite developers to create software solutions that address challenges related to the pandemic.

The hackathon is encouraging software developers to #BuildforCOVID19 with solutions along the themes of health, vulnerable populations, businesses, community, education and entertainment. Software can be submitted until 30 March.
