Financial services and technology providers including Microsoft will come together to hear about the latest trends, expert insights and innovations in the financial services industry at Money 20/20 Europe on 6-8 June 2023.

The event, hosted at the Rai Amsterdam in the Netherlands, will feature over 350 guest speakers including senior executives from global banks such as HSBC, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, NatWest and Citi.

Ian Stuart, CEO of HSBC UK, will talk about the bank’s ‘ground-breaking’ acquisition of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) UK and will share insights into how the HSBC UK team worked to structure the deal over one weekend. He will also outline the bank’s plan to support future growth.

“I’m looking forward to telling the inside story of how HSBC moved fast to acquire SVB UK; supporting customers and securing deposits and loans without government financial support,” said Stuart. “Money20/20 provides a great stage to share some of our thinking behind the deal and expand on why it’s so important for HSBC to continue to support the start-up and fintech economy in the UK and Europe.”

The CEOs of the London Stock Exchange, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the Regtech Association, the European Banking Authority and the Israel and German Ministries of Finance will also host conference sessions on various topics. This will include everything from banking to payments, cryptocurrencies, insurance, sustainability efforts and more.
