NRF 2024 will bring representatives from more than 6,200 brands to New York City for three days

Representatives from the global retail industry will meet in New York in January to discuss how technology is transforming retail

NRF 2024: Retail’s Big Show will be held at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from 14 to 16 January 2024 and bring together professionals from across the global retail supply chain. More than 40,000 attendees from over 6,200 brands are expected to visit the event and hear from 450 speakers during 50 curated keynotes and 170 sessions. There will also be 1,000 exhibitors.

The event will open with a keynote from John Furner, National Retail Federation chairman and president of Walmart US, who will discuss the current state of the retail industry. Other keynote speakers will include actor Drew Barrymore and Made By Gather CEO Shae Hong, who will share how their brand Beautiful was created to offer purposeful and affordable products. In addition, National Basketball League legend Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson will outline how he built success from the ground up.

Microsoft will be taking part in various sessions at the event, focusing on how its solutions are helping retailers make the most of technology. Several of Microsoft’s partners will also exhibit and host sessions.

Blue Yonder’s Vince Beacom will join David Herridge of PVH Corp to discuss digital transformation in the supply chain in the ‘From silos to success: How leading retailers deliver lasting results’ session, while Accenture’s Cassidy Beadle and Gabriella Fox will share insights on what shoppers expect from retails stores in the ‘Picture this: A snapshot of the newest NYC retail standouts’ session.

Kayla Broussard of Kyndryl will take part in the ‘Drive enhanced customer experiences with the power of data’ session alongside Robledo Castro of Grupo Pao de Acucar, and Matthew Guiste will share how Zebra Technologies’ solutions are improving customer experience in the ‘Shaping the future of work with Burlington Stores’ session alongside Vikram Subramanian of Burlington Stores.

In addition, Matt Kramer and Sunder Ramakrishnan of KPMG will share timely consumer research about today’s shopping journey in the ‘The omnichannel imperative: Exploring the future of retail transformation’.

Other highlights of the show will include networking events, retail store and expo tours, The Foodservice Tech Stage and Innovation Zone, The NRF Innovation Lab featuring new-to-market technology, and The Startup Hub. New for 2024, the NRF Supply Chain 360 Summit will feature eight expert-led sessions focused on solving supply chain challenges.
