CARTES Secure Connexions to become TRUSTECH this year

CARTES Secure Connexions, an annual conference for the secure payment, identification and mobility sector, is to change its name to TRUSTECH this year.

Marking the event’s 30th anniversary, the new name reflects the rapid evolution of new security and transaction technologies.

“TRUSTECH has been chosen because trust in the integrity and protection of sensitive data is such a critical aspect of the ongoing development of new applications and uses in our increasingly interconnected world,” said Comexposium, the event organiser, in a written statement.

TRUSTECH aims to become the hub of the international secure connections and trust technologies sector. The event will address complex security issues to shape how new technology will be used in an increasingly connected world.

This year’s conference will be held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris, France, and showcase a comprehensive range of secure payment, connection and identification solutions.

In total, 460 international exhibitors, 20,000 visitors and more than 40 CEO speakers from the finance retail, telecommunications, government, healthcare and transport industries will attend the three-day event to help define how the digital enterprise will evolve. Delegates will be able to attend more than 140 conference sessions and seven panel discussions to learn more about new secure connection and transaction technologies. They will also be able to attend the internationally recognised SESAMES awards.
