Happy holidays to all Technology Record readers!

With the festive season upon us, the team at Technology Record will be taking a short break for the holidays. Our normal coverage of the best of enterprise technology solutions from the Microsoft partner ecosystem will resume in the first week of January 2023.

While we take time out for the holidays, why not check out some of our highlights from 2022? Here’s a handpicked selection of five of our most popular features from the past year:

1. Staying ahead of the curve

How is Microsoft evolving its technology suite to help customers and partners capitalise on new and better opportunities? Emily He, corporate vice president of business applications marketing, explained how Microsoft Dynamics 365 is playing an increasingly important role in modern business operations in a dedicated product focus piece in our Autumn 2022 issue. Read the full story, as well as perspectives from selected Microsoft partners, here.

2. Navigating threats in financial services

The threat landscape has become increasingly sophisticated, not least for financial services firms that are grappling with the competing needs to better serve customers, while also thwarting cybercriminals. “Persistent, evolving attacks are reminders that we must act decisively on all fronts in new ways,” said Bill Borden, corporate vice president of worldwide financial services, discussing how Microsoft and its partner community are positioned to help in the financial services feature of our Spring 2022 issue.

3. Retail resilience

Unstable supply chains, labour shortages and inflation are major challenges forcing retailers and consumer goods organisations to rapidly rethink their operating models to remain competitive. Shelley Bransten, corporate vice president of worldwide retail and consumer goods industries, explained how solutions from Microsoft and its partners can help them to remain agile and innovative in the retail feature of the Winter 2022 issue

4. Driving value

“Microsoft is investing in ongoing partner benefits to ensure that every partner has a chance to continue growing,” says Nick Parker, corporate vice president of global partner solutions. He discussed Microsoft’s new partner programme, its bold sustainability goals and the role of digital events in helping businesses to settle into new working practices in an exclusive interview in our Summer 2022 issue.

5. Best of both worlds

Microsoft’s chief technology officer of manufacturing and supply chain Indranil Sircar discussed how weaving together digital and physical environments is enabling manufacturers to optimise processes, predict business outcomes and elevate the customer experience. “Leveraging existing investments while implementing digital twins and digital threads empowers companies with a view of their business that spans the past, present and future,” he said. Learn more about the transformation of manufacturing in our Winter 2022 issue.

You’ll find plenty more insights into how Microsoft and its partners are using digital technologies to help enterprises in the public sector and financial services, media and communications, industrials and manufacturing, retail and consumer goods industries in the four packed issues of Technology Record magazine that were published this year. You can find them here: Spring 2022, Summer 2022, Autumn 2022, Winter 2022.

Many thanks to all our readers and partners who have contributed to and supported Technology Record in 2022. We look forward to bringing you more exclusive insights and updates from the Microsoft partner network next year, beginning with our Spring 2023 edition. Subscribe to receive your copy.
