Smart Retail Tech will explore how technology can be used to optimise the customer experience
Smart Retail Tech (SRT), organised by Fortem International for more than 3,000 visitors, will be held at the ExCel London, UK, between 2 and 3 March 2022. The event will showcase the latest technology and services, host expert-led seminars and provide networking opportunities for a variety of retailers, including independent shops and international chains.
Covering both online and in-store retail, SRT will focus on operational efficiency, customer safety, security, contactless payments, enhancing the customer experience and increasing footfall. Attendees will also be able to explore how to use technology to optimise the customer experience and gain an insight into the digital journey of retail. For example, technologies such as interactive mirrors and in-store app features will be discussed at the In-Store Experience Theatre.
Attendees will also be able to try and test the latest virtual reality and augmented reality retail solutions in the XR (mixed reality) Demo Zone.
Keynote speeches will look at a variety of retail-based topics such as making digital channels more profitable, with Daniel Peach from Google; the digitisation of car buying, with Nick King from AutoTrader; achieving business success on snapchat, with Sam Bevan; the local future of online shopping, with Nick Brackenbury from NearSt Ltd; and how millennials are rewriting the rules of spending, with Rich Bayer from Clearpay.
Guests, speakers and exhibitors who are expected to attend work with brands including Tesco, Boots, IKEA, Primark and Trainline.com.
