The IBC 2023 event in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in September will cover over 40,000 square meters of exhibition space across its 13 halls, Event organisers have now revealed details of the content programme.

Keynote speakers, panels, masterclasses, demonstrations and presentations will be focused on three content pillars: shifting business models, transformative technology, and people and purpose.

IBC’s dedicated ‘Content Everywhere’ area will be hosted in Hall 5, where industry innovators will showcase emerging technologies for multi-platform delivery, over-the-top streaming and content monetisation. The area will deliver a full schedule of presentations and panel sessions at the two show floor theatres located within the hall.

Meanwhile, the Showcase Theatre in Hall 12 and Innovation Stage in Hall 3 will feature premier technology providers and thought leaders addressing the latest industry developments. The Innovation Stage will also host demonstrations from the ‘Accelerator Media Innovation’ programme, in which businesses will demonstrate how they are collaborating to fast-track projects that take on real-world challenges the industry faces today. Hall 3 will also be home to the Accelerator Zone.

IBC will also host its two-day IBC Conference on 15-16 September, which will feature thought leaders from across the media and entertainment sector who will address current industry trends and issues.

Furthermore, the ‘Changemakers’ programme, taking place on 17-18 September, will consider industry developments from a human point of view. Its sessions will spotlight the changing expectations of organisations, initiatives and individuals within the industry while generating conversations that address key topics such as equality, sustainability, creativity and new industry talent.

“The momentum is building towards another vibrant IBC,” said Michael Crimp, CEO of IBC. “IBC is the place where the media and entertainment sector convene to design and define the agenda for our industry. IBC enables content everywhere by bringing together buyers and sellers to deliver insights, make connections and unlock opportunities.”
