HP is to release three new 2-in-1 devices – HP ENVY x360, HP Pavilion x360 and HP Split x2 – this summer.
Featuring a 15.6-inch diagonal ten-point capacitive touchscreen, the HP ENVY x360 supports Windows 8.1 touch gestures with its HP Control Zone trackpad. It is powered by an Intel Core processor and has a hinged design to enable users to shift between tablet or tent mode. The HP ENVY x360 is expected to be available in the US from 11 June.
Powered by Intel Core 13 or AMD A8 processors, the HP Pavilion x360 features dual speakers and a 13.3-inch, ten-point touchscreen display. Featuring dual speakers, it can be used in either tablet or tent mode. Devices with the AMD A8 processor will be released on 9 July, while those powered by an Intel Core i3 processor will be available on 20 July.
Available from 16 July, the HP Pavilion Split x2 is a lightweight, detachable PC that has a 13.3-inch ten-point touchscreen display and a fanless design. It has an Intel Core processor, an advanced hinge design and dual battery system – one battery in the base and another in the tablet – to enable users to alternate between notebook to tablet mode.
