Update turns platform into a single, unified tool able to automatically manage and patch devices across three major operating systems

By Laura Hyde |

Action1 has expanded its autonomous endpoint management (AEM) solutions to automatically manage and patch devices across three major operating systems – Windows, macOS and Linux.

The update will help large companies and managed-service providers (MSSPs) to automate the patching process in mixed computer environments, cutting time and costs, as well as consolidating reporting and dashboards to keep all endpoints up to date, secure and compliant.

With 27 new Windows packages, the Action1 expansion means it can now update and install more third-party apps than before

“When facing a critical vulnerability, IT teams need a patching solution that performs reliably across every endpoint,” said Mike Walters, president and co-founder of Action1. “They shouldn’t have to think about where to get the right patch or how to deploy it at scale. We’re providing IT teams with a unified platform that delivers the automation, control and enterprise scalability organisations require.”
